Baccio Zanella Park

This park, along with the Palazzo del Capitano it is connected to, belonged to the noble Zanella family until 1982, when it was donated to the city.  It covers 7,300 m2, extending up a hillside.  The entrance from Via Camuzzoni leads to a first level, where a welcoming Italian-style garden.  Thanks to a series of restoration projects by the city, the most recent one in 2014-2015, it is now possible to pass from one terrace to the next, following a long and charming staircase that leads to the castle.  From the stairway, it is also possible to follow a short path that leads to the tower, where the wall-walk atop the walls begins.  The view that can be enjoyed from there is splendid.
